Средство от насморка - своими руками :)

     Был я на СНБ 2024 Весна, и так уж получилось, что товарищ который мне обещал спальный мешок привезти, его не привез. Сказать, что я матерился - ничего не сказать.

    Собственно пришлось спать на земле, но хоть в палатке. У меня в наличии был только плед, в который я закутывался. 

Ребята-сокомандники рассказали как не замерзнуть ну совсем - спать на бронежилете, что я и делал. 

    Реально работает, но на самом деле холод ощущался, но худо бедно укутавшись в софтшел, надев термуху и укутав ноги в одеяло удалось уснуть.

    На следующий день, я проснулся от рева танков :). Проснулся с лютой мигренью, ребята поделились нурофеном. Отыграл всю дневную фазу, но к вечеру стало холодать и я стал сопливиться. 

Пошел к медикам и состоялся диалог:
    - Есть ли что от насморка?
    - Нету
    - А что такое?
    - Докучает, ночь на земле спал, походу температурю.
    - А, ну ща коктель приготвим
    - ?
    - Держи шприц, закапывай себе периодически в нос. Тебя сначала поколбасит, но потом нормально будет

    В общем закапал, мне первый час было действительно не очень хорошо, но где-то на второй час стало все лучше и лучше и было странное ощущение - я даже не капал больше. Насморк резко прошел и я отыграл всю ночь. 

    С утра мигрень была еще хуже и я встал опять позже всех - не застал никого. Пока снарядился уже все закончилось. Снова нашел таблетку и зашел, закапал нос и зашел к медикам.

    Спрашиваю:
    - А что вы вчера мне дали?
    - А что такое?
    - Я впервые такое вижу. Меня сначала полчаса-час колбасило, морозило даже, но потом все как рукой сняло и вообще сухой нос стал. 
    - ААаа, понравилось?
    - Да, дайте рецепт
    - Ну это была ампула адреналина + 10 мл физраствора
    - Фига се! Спасибо

В общем ампула адреналина + 10мл физраствора реально помогает, я меньше 1 кубика залил тогда внос и насморк пропал прям.

Правда за рулем не советую - я приехал (даже с учетом, что я поспал в пути 3 часа) домой с дикими зрачками)) Как меня гайцы не тормознули - я не знаю.

Но зато девушка была рада "скидывать напряжение" :D

[DevOps] Hint for running portainer under podman

Officially the Portainer is supports only docker, but on some systems we can use only Podman (RHEL systems), with this is hint you can run portainer under podman:

systemctl enable podman
systemctl start podman

#You will need to enable linger for this user in order for the socket to work when the user is not logged in.
loginctl enable-linger $USER

docker run -d -p 8000:8000 -p 9443:9443 --name portainer --restart=always -v /run/podman/podman.sock:/var/run/docker.sock -v portainer_data:/data portainer/portainer-ce:latest

[DevOps] Debug MongoDB pipelines

Sometime, MongoDB server is crash when tried to run some pipelines (aggregations). The main problem – it's happens without logs and hardly to detect it and debug. 

For debugging, you can use this command in MongoDB client for getting latest logs before crash and for detecting what aggregation is evoking error.

db.adminCommand( { getLog:"global" })

This command requires some additional admin permissions for getting logs and not available for regular users

Sometimes are needs to remove logs for all containers, for example, when you not have enough disk space

[Ubuntu&Gnome42.5] Support multiple key combinations for switching input sources for keyboard

By default, the latest version of Gnome (42.5) and Ubuntu (22.04.1 LTS) is multiple combinations for input disabled, and you must use only <Super>+Space combination. And you can't change it without the tool 'gnome-tweaks'.

But, if you are is Windows or Mac user, you can want to use multiply combinations. So, I will hint you how to do it. 

With using the terminal: 

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.keybindings switch-input-source "['<Shift>Alt_L', '<Super>Space']"

[NodeJS] How the solve problem with building of node-saas(7.0.1) on nodejs 17

Hello, because in some projects I have legacy dependencies (locked versions), I got some problems with modern versions of Node.js interpreter, you will just get errors on trying to build.

You can reproduce it on macOS 12.3.1 and Node.js 17/18. One of the issues – python2, it has issues on modern versions of mac, so you can't install it using brew command.

So, algorithm for solving it:

1. Install python2 from official site (https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-2718/)
2. which python2
3. npm config set python /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/bin/python2
4. Install GCC/clang C++ compiler (hint: you can install Xcode)
5. CXXFLAGS="--std=c++17" npm i

New devices for the 2020 year

Hello, I got new devices for the 2020 year.

It's Intel NUC 10 Pro (BXNUC10I7FNH2) and Google Pixel 4 64 a white color. 

NUC is will be used as a home server. So maybe it's will be used as a server for my Android Device Farm and for CI and dedicated VMs.

Currently, my configuration of NUC has 16 GB RAM (SO-DIMM DDR4 Samsung) and 500 GB SSD (Samsung 980 PRO). 

About Pixel 4 - what I can say? - Is a good phone, but I caught myself thinking about what iPhone 12 Mini/Pro will be better. The battery is less when the battery in my Honor 10 lite 64. But the 90HZ screen and camera are very good. But if compare cameras Pixel 4 and the original iPhone 11, the last is will be better is some scenes (combined scenes with day and night).

Yep, and in the previous year my first honor 10 lite was stolen and I had to buy a new one. So funny what the police did not try to find it. The realities of life in Russia... 

Small problem with display of macbook 2019

Hello. 

So how like many people already writes MacBook has a very close distance between the display and metal frame. I got this is the problem... one a grain of sand is destroyed my display... Apple is refused to do this under warranty, so I was lost 500$. 

Problem is famous already a long time. The repair was done in B2X, at my expense. So, how you can see, In my mac 2019 we already have and keyboard marks on the display. 

On these images, the age of my mac is 3 months. And another problem - the keyboard and mouse is not works when MacBook is going away from sleep mode. It took 2 weeks to fix it, and Apple refused to acknowledge the problem - only after a video record has been provided and demonstrated personally to the engineer they recognized this problem.

Problem with processes at Apple  - we need to demonstrate all problems to remote apple engineers too, but because this is a problem is a floating problem it's is not always is possible. So local engineer must demonstrate the problem too to Apple engineers.

The general repair took me 1 month. And the problem with the keyboard sometimes is reverts (and on MacBook pro 16 2019 too). So, maybe it's a software problem.
